Kanhym Life was created to enable insurers, funeral societies, provident funds and other financial institutions with the ability to provide their members and policyholders with traditionaly African benefits.

Our core service is the provision of cattle for the purpose of ceremonial proceedings as funerals. We source quality animals, from Kanhym Estates on a guaranteed basis and will arrange delivery to claimants on behalf of the relevant financial institution.

Kanhym Life is a Joint Venture between Kanhym Estates and Munich Reinsurance Company of Africa Ltd. The concept has been developed by Raymond Shaw (an insurance broker) Colin van der Meulen (an actuary).
